If there was a temporary way to kill yourself I’d be all over that shit cause I’m so fucking done with everything.
People keep telling me to speak my opinions and input but when I do everyone gets pissed at me for dumb little reasons. I’m trying guys. I don’t know how to fucking talk to people cause I don’t have friends irl, I just have people who only hang out with me because they need something from me.
I’m barely managing on surviving right now, the last thing I need is to try and act social but everyone in my family or a couple online ‘friends’ are pressurizing me to be more social.
honestly… i highly doubt it was knight’s decision to rename the character we cannot deny is starscream as “blitzwing,” and i while i understand being angry—i love screamer with all of my heart and soul, and am very upset that it’s not officially him—it’s really not above studios and corporations backing this movie to pull the plug on a primary (liscened, highly profitable) character in the middle of post-production when it’s really too late for them to change it. i also don’t think it’s unreasonable to suggest that michael bay, who included starscream in the original transformers movie series (that he spent over a decade of his life on!), who is quite the Personality™, and who is currently producing bumblebee (i feel like people are forgetting about this?), might suddenly have objected to the rebranding of starscream in knight’s new movie. idk, i just feel like getting angry at travis knight and the movie as a whole is really quite unfair, seeing that in all likelihood it really isn’t the fault of the people who are actually working on the project and trying to make it succeed. just my hot take
Why can’t Bay just let us be happy and have a decent Transformers movie? Honestly, if he’s gonna control the movie, then he shouldn’t have stopped directing and made a 6th Bayverse movie to follow up TLK. Bayverse Starscream the Dorito is dead anyway.
Plus, if they’re gonna try to make the Transformers look like their original/comic counter parts, then why the fuck does Blitzwing look like Starscream? To be honest, that’s what I’m mostly upset about. If they’re putting in Blitzwing, they could at least try to make it look like him in the slightest.
oh, please don’t misunderstand me—i’m not accusing michael bay! i’m just saying that he may have had a reason (or several) to decide to say no to starscream, and he’s an executive on the film, so it’s definitely within his power to do so. this post definitely is more of a “this could be what’s happening and is a lot more plausible,” so perhaps i should have worded it better. be mad at michael bay for many things, but definitely not for speculation from some girl on the internet. 😅
and yeah, i totally understand that; me too!! i was so hyped for starscream for so long because that really IS starscream’s design. the deal is, apparently the movie is already in post production, which means that a lot of the insanely expensive cgi is probably already finished and would cost a hell of a lot of money to just up and redo. if they made this decision recently, as most people think, the main reason why they couldn’t make him actually look like blitzwing is because they can’t afford to go back and do it again. thus, we get starscream-y blitzy.
on the bright side, this probably means that the script is just about the same, too. blitzwing may turn out to really just be starscream in a hat. i’d be chill with that. 😂

I just think it’s a bit crummy that they led us on for a whole month and then some before dropping this on us. I just hope that the plot can make up for this turn of events cause I was really looking forward for this movie.
I’m just silently hoping that Travis Knight is trolling everyone and that it really is Starscream or maybe they’re the same bot, kinda like split personalities (I think that would be pretty cool).

i love that every pokémon is someone’s favourite pokémon. it doesn’t matter how much you dislike a pokémon or how forgettable you you think a design is, out there is someone who thinks it’s their baby. my coworker who only discovered pokémon through pokémon go absolutely loves tangela and has a small army of fully powered up ones. at an expo once i saw a woman at a booth desperately trying to find an onix plushie because it was her daughter’s absolute favourite. i talked with someone recently who announced sudowoodo as their tippy top favourite. every single one is loved by someone and idk, i think that’s gotdang heartwarming
