Just a readers tip: Shoelaces make absolutely fantastic bookmarks. You can mark your place without damaging the pages, and tie it around the book so it doesn’t come loose (Aka: you won’t lose your page for the thousandth time that day carrying your book around)!
Forgot to add: And since shoelaces come in so many colors, you can easily find/order one that matches your book well! (Although black and white most likely always fit the aesthetic.)
I just got the idea that you can probably braid and put pins and stuff on them too?? I’ve been doing this for awhile now I should start customizing them…
