I wasn’t around for DashCon so can anybody explain to me what it was and why it is a meme?

There is a really good youtube video explaining it but im on mobile so ill give you the tl;dr

Tumblr decided to hold a con but the host didnt think shit through so a bunch of the things that were supossed to happen didnt and everyone was starting to ask for a refund because the con consists of everyone standing around and a singular ball pit. But low and behold as ut turns out the hosts didnt even have enough money to keep shit up and running so they were had to ask the people at the con for donations.

Theres more to this but ill leave it at someone pissed in the ballpit and theres a conspiracy that the hosts actually did have enough money and just pocketed some for themselves.
